q - cafe
Over looking the centuries old Qutub Minar, is where you can find the dazzle of the Pink pixie dust, every evening here at ‘Chez Jerome – G cafe.’
On the far side of the cafe, two women sit together picking at potato wedges and making awkward first-date small talk. Anywhere else, they would have looked incongruous, but at Q-Cafe, said to be Delhi’s first LGBTQ cafe, no one blinks an eye. The so-called abnormal is normal here, and judgment is meant to be left at the door.
This divine rooftop café, located in Lado Sarai, facing the majestic Qutub Minar, the Chez Jerome Q Café opens to patrons every evening, at 5 pm for a soiree that’s filled with skylight and serenity. Named after Chef Jerome, receiver of the honorary title of Disciples D’Escoffier International award, the restaurant is Delhi’s first openly and exclusively queer café that welcomes every member of the LGBTQ community with open arms. And it’s a riot!
